The amazing songwriter and synth master of the Soviet-era synth-pop band Alyans (Alliance) passed on. That mustache! Those funky shades and police hat! That awesome shirt! Oleg Parastaev is no longer with us. He was 62. The video we all loved that popped up last year? He uploaded it. He ran with it too. He still had the shirt and worked with the pop culture his look generated. It was mimicked and played upon lovingly.
